Ms. Melissa Elmore

Hello!  My name is Melissa Elmore and I am a third year ALE teacher at Bush Middle School.  I started my career in education with one year as a substitute teacher at Randolph AFB and then two years as an ALE paraprofessional at MacArthur High School.  My transition from business to education was driven by my interest in the success of others and the belief in the connection between motivation and human ability.  I enjoy making personal connections with people and consider the students and faculty here at Bush to be an integral part of my family.  In addition to being a teacher, I am a mother to three (ages 30, 27, and 18) and grandmother to two (ages 2 and 3).  I enjoy reading, working crossword puzzles, and watching old TV shows on MeTV.
