As one of the ELAR teachers at Bush Middle School, I am excited for the possibilities and opportunities this year affords!  Bush Middle School is known for its affable students, its engaged community of parents, and its dedicated administration and staff.  A new year is a new chance to learn with my students and to grow as they grow and develop into mature, young scholars.

I am a San Antonio native.  While I left San Antonio to earn my B.A. in English and my M.Ed. in Technology and Curriculum, I quickly returned. My son, Ian, is a junior this year at DATA Academy, and my daughter, Alyson, is starting her middle-school experience at STEM Academy.

As a father, I can appreciate the need to balance an academic life with a family life; as an educator, I can appreciate the rigor required for a successful future not just at Bush Middle School or Reagan High School but beyond.

I hope that this year will be exciting, eventful, and full of inquiry!
