I grew up in NEISD.  I went to Bradley MS before attending and graduating from MacArthur HS. I received my Bachelor of Arts in English from University of Texas at San Antonio. I've been teaching in NEISD since 2004.

I am a self professed "word nerd."  Everything about the flow of words from brain to hand, pen to page, and page to imagination fascinates me.  I can only pray that I can convey even a fraction of the passion I have for literature, writing, and yes, even grammar (sentence diagramming is fun!) to my new slew of students this year.
