Mrs. Erin Sharkey
Mrs. Sharkey grew up in San Antonio and is a product of NEISD. She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School, and then traveled to Chicago to attend Northwestern University. Mrs. Sharkey graduated from Northwestern with a Bachelors degree in both Clarinet Performance and Music Education, and completed her Master's Degree in Music Education from Texas State University.
Mrs. Sharkey is the assistant band director at Bush Middle School. She teaches the Symphonic Band, co-teaches the Concert Band, and Beginner Oboe, Bassoon, Flute, Saxophone, and Clarinet classes. This is Mrs. Sharkey's 16th year at Bush Middle School, and before teaching in NEISD, she taught in the Round Rock Independent School District.
In Mrs. Sharkey's spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband David, daughters Addison and Emily, and son David. She also enjoys crafting, playing with makeup, reading, watching movies, shopping and spending time with her family and friends.
