Hello IKE Generals! 

My name is Katherine Clare and I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. I graduated from Tom C. Clark High School in 2003, then went on to play college basketball at The University of Texas of the Permian Basin. In 2007, I received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Marketing and a Minor in Management from the University of Texas at San Antonio. This is my 15th year teaching and my tenth year of teaching and coaching at Eisenhower. I will be teaching Physical Education, Health  and coaching volleyball, basketball, track and soccer. I have a younger brother, Kyle, whom I am very close to. He is a graduate of the Air Force Academy and is currently a Fighter Pilot. In my free time, I enjoy being with my friends and attending family vacations, especially our annual reunion at the beach. I also love working out at Orangetheory and playing different sports at the San Antonio Sports Association. 

I believe I have the coolest job ever because I get to be a huge part of teaching life lessons through sports and physical activity, as well as grow our future in the right direction while witnessing huge rewards in the end! As coaches, building relationships is something that we do every day. Being that smiling face, lending a listening ear and some good advice inspires me to be a better leader every day. Creating this positive foundation will bring a more welcoming environment! 

I am looking forward to a great school year and being a part of watching our IKE Family grow!!
