Ms. Rebecca Lakes

I am so excited for my first year at Eisenhower as the Assistant Choir Director! I spent the last 12 years in our cluster as an elementary music teacher at Huebner Elementary and as the Lead Elementary Music Coordinator for NEISD. This is my 24th year teaching music. I also am the Preparatory and Prelude Director for the Children's Chorus of San Antonio. In the summers, I teach Folksong Analysis and Research and Pedagogy for the Midwestern State University Kodály Institute. I  have two beautiful children. Ciela is a 6th grader here at Eisenhower and Mateo is a Freshman in the AMP program at Madison High School. In my free time, I love to read, travel, try new restaurants and exercise. Mr. Pena and I are looking forward to a great year in the choir program here at Eisenhower!
