Hello, I am Ms. Freshwater! I am excited to be entering my 21st year in education. I have been teaching at NEISD for 20 years and have been part of the Eisenhower family for 7 years. This school year, I will be teaching 6th and 8th grade ELAR.

I grew up in Fort Worth, TX, and moved to San Antonio in 2005. Despite the heat, I love Texas! I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2003 and started teaching at Wedgwood Middle School in Fort Worth in 2004. After moving to San Antonio in 2005, I began my career in NEISD.

When I'm not teaching, I usually spend time with friends and family. I have two wonderful girls—one an IKE General and the other a Huebner Huskie—ages 8 and 13. My primary goal is to encourage your child to find their passion and embrace a successful future. I am excited to get to know every student and share my love of learning!
