Hello, I am Ms. Freshwater!  I am excited about beginning my 19th year of education.  I have been teaching at NEISD for 19 years and have been a part of the Eisenhower family for 6 years.  I will be teaching 8th-grade ELAR this school year. I grew up in Fort Worth, TX, and moved to San Antonio in 2005.  Despite the heat, I love Texas!!    I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2003 and started teaching at Wedgwood Middle School (Fort Worth) in 2004.  I moved to San Antonio in 2005, where I started my career in NEISD.  When I am not teaching, I am usually spending time with friends and family.  I have 2 wonderful girls (one an IKE General and one a Huebner Huskies) ages 7 and 12.  My goal is to encourage your child to find their passion and embrace a successful future. I am excited about getting to know each and every student and sharing my love of learning!
