Hello Eisenhower Orchestra Parents and Students!      

Originally, from Laredo, I moved in 1999 to study Music Education at the University of Texas, San Antonio. I began teaching at Ike in 2003. Because I remember the excitement I had starting to play an instrument in 5th grade, I consider it a privilege to teach this age. I absolutely love it.

I have also been part of Youth Orchestras of San Antonio since 2008, where I have served as sectional coach, conductor for YOSA Summer Symphony Camp, serve as the Summer Symphony Camp Director, and this year will conduct the YOSA Sinifonietta Orchestra.

My favorite part about teaching music is building relationships with students and watching them grow as musicians and human beings.

When I am not at school, I enjoy time outside with friends, family and my puppies!
