Mrs. Nerison
Hello and welcome to my homepage! I am so excited and honored to be part of the Colonial Hills Family! This will be my eighth year at Colonial Hills, however my 18th year of teaching! I have been blessed to teach in the state of Colorado and in Abliene, Texas.
I am married and we have 3 daughters; my oldest daughter is a graduate of UTSA and is working in Graphic Design in New York. My middle daughter is Graduated from Texas A&M University at College Station and is now working as a biological representative and my youngest is attending UT Austin!
I was born and raised in San Antonio and have lived here for most of my life! I earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University and a Master of Arts from The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. In 1991 I received the Young Professionals Award from CAPHERD. (Colorado Association of Physical Education, Recreation and Dance) I have a love of learning and continually seek opportunities to bring new, challenging and exciting activities in the classroom.
I believe education is most important for our lives. My father used to tell me to work hard and study, because a good solid education is something no one can take away from you! My goal as a teacher is to instill a love of reading and learning for every student in the classroom. With a good education, students can achieve their goals in life.
I am looking forward to an awesome 2019- 2020 school year of learning and transforming!
