Hello all!!! Welcome back to Eisenhower, the best middle school in San Antonio. This is my 9th year here at Eisenhower and my 19th year as a teacher. 

I was born and raised on the southside of San Antonio. I grew up along the Missions and attended Mission San Francisco De La Espada Church. I have lived here all my life, except when I attended Sam Houston State University, where I earned my degree in Criminal Justice. I have worked in education for the past 25 years, the last 18 years as a teacher and the previous 7 through the Department of Education.

I have 5 kids, 2 earning their college degree and 3 in the workforce. One will be a Senior at TXST and the youngest is in his 1st year in college.

I have also coached for almost 22 years, both in school and select sports. Being a huge supporter of education, I have always made sure that all players excel in the classroom. Whether the players were in high school, middle school or elementary, we teach that the importance of education outweighs the ability to make a free throw or hit the curve ball. No pass, no play.
