Ms. Charlotte Rowe

Hi! Welcome to Eisenhower!

I am so excited to start a new school year here at Eisenhower in the Math Department. It's going to be a fun and an exciting year filled with learning. But, before I get to know you, I want you to know a little bit about me and my family. I am a single mom of two beautiful daughters, Alix and Mae. Alix is a graduate of UTSA. She currently lives in Oaxaco, Mexico with her husband, Miguel, and their three-year-old daughter, Emilia Kailani. She established her business in a remote learning Level Up Literacy Lab designed for ages Pre-K thru 12 children around the world.  My youngest is Mae. They live in New York seeking their education in the Arts, more specifically acting. They love the stage, singing, and captivating an audience. This is truly their passion in life and has an exceptional talent to inspire those around them.

As for me, I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas and my Master of Arts in Education from the University of Phoenix.  I joined NEISD in September of 2005, working as a paraprofessional. After graduate school, I joined the Harmony Hills community in 2012, teaching 3rd grade, then moved to 5th grade in 2013.

During my time with Harmony, I was honored to represent the campus as Teacher of the Year and was elected as a Trinity Prize For Excellence in Teaching. I'm humble to have had the opportunity to be Teacher Feature of the month of April 2019.  I have been blessed to be part of this wonderful community and this great district for the last 18 years, as both a paraprofessional and a certified teacher.

I have a passion to help prepare students for their future (keeping the "End in Mind"), by showing them how to master skills essential to everyday life and and believing in their future by using the 7 Habits in their daily lives . In the classroom, I aim to make real world events come alive in order to help the students make connections from the classroom to their everyday lives.

A student's success is made possible by:

1. the support of many people like their family and teachers,

2. their own momentum and drive to improve, and

3. a positive, optimistic attitude.
