Mrs. Jennifer Ramirez
Hello Eisenhower families,
My name is Jennifer Ramirez, this will be my fifth year of teaching, and I have worked with students from prekinder to fifth grade as a teacher's assistant for about fifteen years now. Teaching is not just a job; it's my hobby and my calling! I can't imagine being so fulfilled in any other profession. I am so excited about this year and cannot wait for the first day of school!
I graduated from Robert E. Lee High school in 2002, then received my associates degree at San Antonio College. I transferred to Texas A&M University - San Antonio to receive my bachelor's in interdisciplinary studies for EC through 6th grade. In January 2021, I was given the opportunity to officially teach my own classroom as a certified teacher. I have been teaching for 4 years now and every piece of my educational path has helped mold the person and teacher that I am today. I learned from some of the very best educators and I constantly try to put that into action the things they have taught me.
I am married to my husband Sean, we have two fur babies named Oreo and Odie (they are brothers). In my spare time I love to draw and paint, watch movies (especially the scary ones), go to concerts, anything Star Wars, and hang out with loved ones.
This will be my first year as an art teacher, and I'm very excited to inspire your child this year. We will explore the elements and principles of art, art history, creating and critiquing artwork throughout the school year.
Looking forward to meeting you and your child this school year!

We are so excited to have you to join the Eisenhower art department and begin your creative journey. We will be exploring princples and techniques of design throughout the year, using a variety of mediums, tapping into creativity, and producing original works of art. Projects assigned will differ based on the class: Art 1, Art 2, Art 1 for high school credit (Art 3), but each class will have engaging lessons that tap into and expand the imagination.
