I am excited about starting my 11th year in Education.  Uvalde Alumni, and a graduate of University of Texas San Antonio(first generation) where I cheered and acquired my degree in English Concentration in Creative Writing.
My husband, Alan Hughes, a NEISD Alumni & Churchill State Soccer Champion, graduate of Texas State, has been a NEISD teacher for 6 years now prior to working in Uvalde in 2013 where we met   at Roosevelt High school. We are excited that our children are able to attend NEISD schools and follow in his footsteps. My first daughter, Ysabella Cecilia is an 8th grader at Eisenhower, Yliz Adelina is a 5th grader at Castle Hills Elementary, Charles Santiago is in kindergarten at Castles Hills Elementary, and my youngest, David Leonel, is 3 years old at PreK4.  My family and I love NEISD, and we are excited about a great year ! 2022-23!
