This is my 17th year here at Wilderness Oak Elementary and my 21st year teaching, altogether. I received a Master's in Education degree from Southwest Texas State University (currently Texas State University, although it's still SWT to me!) In addition to teaching third grade, I have also taught second and fourth grades and summer school. 

Reading, gardening, listening to music, attending art museums and festivals, learning the latest technology tools, and traveling are some of my hobbies and favorite things to do, but I'm always searching for new ones!!! Another adventure I absolutely love is going to the beach, relaxing on the sand, catching some waves, fishing, and watching our eleven-year-old daughter build sand castles and riding the waves on her boogie board. My perfect day would be relaxing on a beach in San Diego, California with family and friends.
