I am so proud to be a member of the Falcon family!  This will be my fifth year as an art teacher at Krueger Middle School.  Prior to Krueger, I taught elementary for 12 years, starting at the private sector in San Juan, Puerto Rico and the Archdiocese of San Antonio. I also taught elementary at SAISD and for Northeast Independent School District. 

I have always been a firm believer that art connects us to our culture as well as with the wider world.  My education in art began at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.  I attended The Art Institute of Houston for visual communications and I received a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Incarnate Word.

I am grateful for all the teaching experiences I have attained and the students I have had the honor to work with. I love what I do!  I love that I get to teach students to take the time to be more careful and thorough in how they observe the world.
