Ms. Natalie Jaquess

Hello, I'm Ms. Jaquess (or Ms. J)! I am so excited to be a part of the Eisenhower family again for the sixth year! I am an avid football fan and love pretty much all things sports and competition. I also love music and like to think that in another life I may have been a professional dancer. As a Churchill HS grad, I love that I get to teach future Chargers. When I am not teaching, I am typically found spending time with friends and day dreaming about traveling abroad!

I believe that every child has a right to learn and that learning occurs best in an environment where students are respected, cared for, and held to a high standard. Teaching, to me, is a unique privilege that I have the opportunity of stepping in to. Classroom culture is important to me and I make an effort to cultivate it with my students. It is my goal that at the end of the year, classmates feel more like family.

Important Things to Know!

  • Tutoring times:

    Thursday and Friday Mornings: 7:50-8:15

    Monday Afternoons: 3:45-4:15

    Expectations-

2 main rules: Work hard and be nice. If we are striving for these two, most issues resolve themselves.

Students are required to have a journal that they keep in class. ELAR students should bring a book to class every day. Books can be checked out at the library before school, after school, and occasionally during lunches.

Grades are calculated 60% daily work, 40% projects and assessments.
