My name is Jose Benitez and this is my sixth year teaching Music at Wilderness Oak Elementary. I graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word and received my bachelor's in Music Education EC-12. I believe that music is essential to a person's growth: mentally, physically, and emotionally. I also believe that we can learn responsibility, teamwork, self-discipline, and self-expression through Music Education. As a product of NEISD, I look forward to working in the district I grew up in.

During my off time, you can see me playing around town as a member of the Heart of Texas Band and San Antonio Crossmen Winds and helping out the Reagan Marching Band.
