Degrees and Certifications:

BS in Agricultural Leadership and Development, Texas A&M University.

Mrs. Savannah Owens

Howdy! I am a native Texan, born and raised in San Antonio, TX. I graduated from Texas A&M (whoop!) in 2015 with a degree in agriculture but returned to school shortly after to get my teaching certification. I have my certification in generalist 4-8 as well as special education EC-12. I began teaching at Eisenhower in 2017 and this will be my 6th year teaching. This year, I will be a special education teacher in math and science classrooms as well as a case manager.

A little about myself; I am married, have a two year old son,two dogs, and two cats. I love to cook, play with my dogs, and spend time with my family.

At Eisenhower, I coach the math and calculator teams in Academic UIL. I also run the Paws for a Cause Club where students come together to share their love for animals.  Teaching is my passion, I love to learn new things and share that passion with students. This year I plan on using different online platforms such as Desmos that differentiate learning for our students who have all kinds of educational needs. My goal is to find the best ways to learn math and science for each of my students to maximize success.
