Tracie Shelton, Trustee

Tracie Shelton is passionate in the service of others.  She leverages her background and skills to design and implement growth-oriented solutions for organizations and early career talent. Tracie founded Alamo Kitchens in 2018; providing a clean, safe, certified commercial kitchen where food focused entrepreneurs can build their business. Since its launch, Alamo Kitchens has expanded to offer catering as well as training and education.  Ms. Shelton also serves as the Global Manager for Budget and Alumni Engagement at Amazon Web Services Technical University. In this role she manages their budget and business operations and supports program learners and graduates.  In 2023, Ms. Shelton founded The Community Table Foundation. The Community Table Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose focus is on creating programs that support communities in the areas of food security and education.
 
Ms. Shelton holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Southwestern University at Georgetown, Texas; and serves on their Board of Visitors.  Tracie is a board member of the Food Policy Council of San Antonio and a Board Trustee for the North East Independent School District, representing Single Member District 2.  
 
When she is not working, Tracie enjoys testing recipes, reading a hard cover book, watching Columbo and playing Uno with her three children.
