"Since moving to San Antonio in 2003, I have become increasingly involved in the activities of not just the schools my children attend, but also matters affecting the entire district.  My mother was a life-long public education advocate through her many years as a first grade teacher, so my passion stems from the countless hours I watched her devote to her classes.  I'm very excited to join a group of outstanding individuals to help shape the future of our district; for the benefit of the students, teachers, administrators, and parents."

I currently serve on the North East Educational Foundation (NEEF) board and currently the Golf Committee chairperson.  In addition, I have been involved in various PTA activities, supporting the schools attended by my children, including the Watch D.O.G.S. program at Northwood Elementary.  I have also completed the Leadership North East program offered through the District.

I was born near Chicago, Illinois, but moved to Austin at an early age where I attended Stephen F. Austin High School.  Finished my education at Texas A&M University earning a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture in 1998. 

My wife Brett (a product of NEISD herself) we are proud parents of two children in NEISD.  One attends Krueger School of Applied Technologies (KSAT) and the other attends Northwood Elementary.
