This School Nutrition team was responsible for the planning and coordination of curbside and bus delivery meals during the COVID-19 school closure. Thanks to their quick work and diligence, feeding began the very first day of the closure, and more than 2 million free and nutritious meals were served to NEISD students in just under 3 months. As you can imagine, a feat like this has never been accomplished before, but they found a way to do it smoothly and successfully.
