Superintendent’s Awards are presented to individuals who go above and beyond normal expectations to support the District’s tradition of excellence. 

Nominees can be employees, students, community partners, parents and volunteers.

Nominees will be considered for acts that fall under distinguished service, leadership, customer service, innovation and heroism.

Nomination forms must be filled out completely and with sufficient details. Incomplete forms with minimal descriptions will not be considered – and cannot be resubmitted after the deadline (unless it is for the next ceremony).

Ongoing projects and campaigns -- such as Leader in Me, Healthy Schools, etc -- will be recognized only with milestone achievements (initiation, unique circumstances, special status earned).

Past recipients of a Superintendent's Award cannot be re-nominated for a second award for similar actions if it has been less than two years.

Nomination forms must be sent as a PDF or Word attachment to superawards@neisd.net by the nomination deadline. (See dates below.) Nominations received after the deadline will be reviewed for possible consideration at the next ceremony.

The judging committee reserves the right to say no to any nomination not suited for these awards.
