Carrie is the sponsor of the National Elementary Honor Society at Roan Forest Elementary School. She started the program last year and gives students many service opportunities including decorating the school for Red Ribbon Week, cleaning the campus on Saturdays, sponsoring Veterans Day Ceremony, and organizing food drives. Carrie also created writing activities where students make cards for the residents at three senior assisted living facilities, for military members and our school board. Carrie dedicates much of her personal time to plan these leadership opportunities. Carrie goes above and beyond the expectations placed on her by volunteering countless hours of her personal time to grow and celebrate student leaders in her school.
