Sofia and Lilyanna saw a problem and came up with a solution by starting the Bronco Eco Club at their school, Vineyard Ranch Elementary. Sofia and Lilyanna created the club to help offset the shortage of custodians during lunch. They prepared a speech to propose the new club to the principal and classroom teacher. They presented to fellow students as well. Since it was approved, the club has been successful in maintaining a clean and eco friendly cafeteria. As they said in their presentation, “We are in this together. The school is ours. Let’s take care of it!”
