Brittany is a KIN training coordinator helping to make sure the after-school program is running at its best. Recently, she went out of her way to assist the School Nutrition department during a recent state audit of the after-school meal program. While not required of her, Brittany gathered hundreds of pages of documents on short notice to meet the auditor's requests. It took several weeks, including several last-minute requests with short turnaround times. Even on her days off, Brittany made sure to answer those requests on time because she cared about helping another department and ensuring that services to students would not be disrupted.
