If you’ve ever planned a big celebration, you know how much work it entails. Tina is a third-grade teacher at Roan Forest Elementary School. That, in itself is a big job, but she also served as the lead coordinator for Roan Forest’s 20th anniversary celebration this year. She led the planning committee that worked from September through March. She coordinated several meetings with former PTA presidents and retired teachers. She also reported out regularly to the Campus Improvement Committee to make sure they were on track with deadlines. The event was a huge success and it was thanks to her extraordinary efforts to celebrate the past, present and future of a great school community.
