There are many times that Coach Harris goes above and beyond his job in order to help Churchill High School. During COVID, when schools shut down, Coach Harris was the first to volunteer himself and his coaches to assist with packet distribution, laptop pick-up, meal distribution, on-campus graduation – whatever was needed. Then after a football coach from Reagan High School passed away this season, Coach Harris ordered bracelets in Reagan colors and gave them to all athletes and coaches honoring this coach and recognizing the difficult time Reagan was going through. Coach Harris takes his role as Athletic Coordinator very seriously. He is present at most games, parent nights, signings, recognitions and any other activity for every sport on campus. He arrives at school by 6 a.m. and is still there well past 6 p.m. most days. Even on weekends and holidays, he is happy to give of himself if it means our students and staff will benefit.
