Welcome to Garner's Dual Language Program. My name is Yolanda Jiménez and I have been teaching Spanish for six years. This will be my seventh year teaching. I was born in Zaragoza Coahuila Mexico. I received my BA in Psychology from Our Lady of the Lake University and my Masters in Public Administration from St. Mary’s University. I received my Teacher Certification from Texas A&M San Antonio. I also received my Principalship Certification in 2015.

While in college at the University of Texas-San Antonio I had the amazing experience of studying for a semester in Barcelona, Spain. I had the opportunity to travel throughout Spain and other parts of Europe.

I love to travel and learn about different cultures. Over the years I've studied and/or traveled in different parts of Mexico, Spain, and France.
