Ms. Jenifer Indianer
I am so excited to be teaching AVID Excel and Reading Acceleration for 6th, 7th, and 8th grades! This is my 10th year teaching, and am ready for it to be the best year yet. I graduated from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, TX with a degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology. I am also ESL certified.
I love reading and hope to impart that love to my students. We will integrate reading and writing every day in order to help our students become academically stronger.
On a personal note, I am a mother of three amazing children - My boys, Samuel (senior) and Cole (Sophmore), go to LEE high school, and my daughter, Katie, is in 5th grade at Converse Elementary. In addition to reading, I love traveling, photography, and being in the country. I believe our energy and attitude in life create our reality. My goal for this school year is to provide a fun and peaceful environment where my students will leave my classroom feeling energized and ready to take on the rest of their day!
