Welcome Yearlings

I am pleased to call Garner home since January 2003. Although I am not a San Antonio native, I do call San Antonio home. Garner Middle School has also become my home away from home! I can honestly say that there is not another school at which I would rather teach or coach. I came from a very diverse background growing up in Houston and I truly believe that no other middle school would compare to mine!

I was raised in Houston by both my loving parents. I attended HISD schools from elementary through high school where I graduated at the top of my class. I began my college studies at the University of Houston and completed my degree here at UTSA. I graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology.

Overall, I am very passionate about sports and being physically active. My heart goes into everything I do! I decided to teach and coach because my middle school coach made that much of a difference in my young life. I can only hope to continue to make the same difference in our Garner students!
