Welcome to my Teacher Webpage. 

I have been an FCS teacher since 2003. I've taught in Northside ISD, San Antonio ISD and now North East ISD. I'm a Culinary Arts teacher who is now sharing my experience with middle schoolers. Overall, I've been in education for 17-years. I really enjoy teaching and sharing my cooking and baking passion with students. 

I received my Bachelor's Degree from U.T. Austin, FCS (Family Consumer Science) Teaching Certficate from Southwest Texas State, now Texas State, and my Master's in Educational Leadership from UTSA. I'm also certified in Baking and Pastry with a certification from Johnson and Walsh Culinary Arts School in Denver, Colorado.  

I'm a HUGE sports fan. I love the UT Longhorns, UTSA Road Runners, Nebraska (UNL) Corn Huskers, and just adore the Astro and Yankee baseball teams. Oh, I can't forget to mention my beloved home city teams, the Louisiana, New Orleans Saints and the Pelicans. Along with sports, I love Jesus, traveling, gardening, baking, and keeping in shape. 

Garner MS will be on the A/B block schedule for 2020-21: A days (odd numbers) 1st, 3rd, 5th, & 7th. . . B days (even numbers )  2nd, 4th, 6th & 8th periods.
