• I believe that a well-organized classroom leads to a more productive and enjoyable learning experience for all students. To help ensure that every student is set up for success, here are the key procedures I expect in my class:

    1. Be on Time & Ready

      • Students are expected to be seated and ready to begin class before the bell rings. This means all materials should be out, and students should be focused and prepared to learn as soon as class starts.

    2. Respectful & Engaged Participation

      • Every student’s voice and ideas are valued in my classroom. I encourage open discussion and critical thinking, and students are expected to actively listen, share their thoughts respectfully, and contribute to class activities.

    3. Stay Organized

      • Students should keep track of their assignments, notes, and projects. I provide clear instructions and deadlines, but it's important for students to stay on top of their work and be prepared for each lesson.

    4. Classroom Materials

      • All students need to bring necessary materials (binder, pen/pencil) each day. I will inform students of any additional items for projects or assignments as needed.

    5. Respect for Others & the Classroom Environment

      • A respectful and safe environment is essential for learning. Students should be courteous to their classmates, follow directions promptly, and take care of classroom resources and materials.

    6. Classwork & Homework

      • Students will receive clear instructions on class assignments and expectations. I expect assignments to be completed on time. If students are absent, they are responsible for catching up on missed work and can reach out for help if needed.

By maintaining these procedures, we can create an atmosphere where every student can succeed and feel confident in their learning. I look forward to working with you and your child to make this school year a great one!
