I am an alumnus of North East Independent School District (Go Riders Go!). I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Master's in Secondary Education from Texas State University.

As a ninth-year teacher, I am delighted to continue being a part of Tex Hill family, which strives to ignite curiosity and inspire a love for learning in our students. This year I serve as the Girls' Athletics Coordinator, for the first time, and coach for 8th-grade girls' "A-Team" basketball and 8th-grade girls' soccer. Before stepping into my current role, I served as one of the 6th grade World Cultures teachers and Girls' Athletics coach at Tex Hill for eight years. My coaching experience at Hill has offered me the opportunity to help develop our successful athletic program.

My goal is to provide student-athletes with a strong foundation of fundamental skills to support their future success while instilling teamwork, commitment, preparation, dedication, self-discipline, and hard work. I strive to continue building on the strong Tex Hill traditions focused on high expectations as our student-athletes compete passionately and with integrity. l encouraged our athletes to seek academic and athletic excellence.
