At the beginning of the year, due to staff shortages, Hardy Oak Elementary School did not have an Alternative Learning Environment or ALE teacher. So Rachel, a 3rd grade special education case manager, stepped into the role just days before the first day of school. She was able to get the room together and hold the "Meet the Teacher" for her incoming class and parents. She still maintained her other role as well. While she has a lot on her plate this year, she still manages to get everything done with grace and her positivity is something to admire.
