Ryan and Robyn Bazurto

Bazurtos with Dr. MaikaRobyn is a teacher at Wetmore Elementary School. And she and her husband Ryan came up with a great solution to a current issue. Due to COVID-19, school water fountains were closed. Getting water to students is still important, and students have been encouraged to bring reusable water bottles from home so they can stay hydrated. Not all students could, so Robyn and Ryan approached DOCUmation, a local company and requested a donation of reusable aluminum water bottles. They donated 100 bottles at a value of close to $700. Robyn and Ryan were able to collect them and bring them to school for any student who needed one. It was a great way to bring community and school together so that students can benefit.
