Kelly is the PTA president at Hill Middle School. She was critical to maintaining a viable and supportive PTA presence on campus during a time when many were tasked beyond their means. But she knew it was also a time when people needed school connection. So, when board members dropped from 20 to three, she didn’t slow down. She took on endless jobs including updating spirit shop designs and merchandise, maintaining the PTA website and social media, leading campus decorations for Red Ribbon Week, honoring teachers with appreciation events, collecting books for the Used Book Sale, leading participation for Clothes Closet volunteers, among many other tasks. She even used her home as the base to get items organized and distributed. Tex Hill is forever grateful to Kelly for keeping their community together.
