2015 Bond Program Regency Place ES Construction-Manager-at-Risk Addition and Renovations Project

The 2015 Bond Program included funding to construct a new classroom addition at Regency Place Elementary School, replacing twenty-four portable classrooms with permanent facilities, and to provide selected renovations to the existing campus facilities. The design provided for construction of: (1) twenty-four new classrooms, including 22 general purpose classrooms with integrated restrooms, and two ALE Classrooms with an ALE Restroom; (2) music classroom, office, and storage area; (3) library and media center; (4) computer lab; (5) new administrative, counseling, and clinic areas with a secure entry vestibule at the campus main entrance area; (6) teacher resource and support areas; (7) covered walkways at the parent drop-off/pick-up area and bus loading/unloading area; (8) fire lane extension; (9) central plant expansion for the new classroom/library addition; (10) renovation of the existing administrative area into a family specialist program area; (11) renovation of existing classroom areas consisting of installation of new wall-partitions and replacement of any existing folding accordion partitions; and (12) landscaping, irrigation, drainage, site utilities, and infrastructure improvements to complement the new facility addition. The overall design program for this project consisted of 55,978 sq. ft. of new facility additions and 3,547 sq. ft. of interior renovations to support the family specialist program.

1 The Bond Planning Estimate represents the original bond program costs developed during the bond planning meetings for each project and includes: Design Fees, Construction Costs, Technology Equipment and Installation, Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment and Construction Management Costs. The School Board "approved" construction budget can be found in the project Bid Award Agenda Item and represents any/all changes to the project resulting from the design development process and/or construction marketplace and inflation costs.
