    Francisco San Miguel, also known as “Officer Frank,” is a retired San Antonio Police Department officer who has volunteered daily in our schools for more than 30 years. He was inducted to North East ISD’s Wall of Heroes on Oct. 6, 2023.

    Reagan Greer

    Reagan Greer’s family and friends came out in great numbers to honor the man who lived his life in continual service to others. His three children helped unveil his plaque on North East ISD’s Wall of Heroes on Oct. 22, 2021 in front of a gathering that also included District leadership and Board of Trustees.

    Michael Bailey

    Michael Bailey was surrounded by his close family and friends including his mother, wife and daughter on the evening of Oct. 22, 2021 when he became one of the latest Wall of Heroes honorees. Bailey is a Churchill High School graduate who taught Texas History at Bradley Middle School for 25 years.

    Muriel McDonald

    Muriel McDonald is the third person and first woman to be inducted onto the North East ISD Wall of Heroes. A special ceremony was held on Nov. 7, 2019 before the Churchill vs Roosevelt game at Heroes Stadium. Accepting the award on her behalf is her son Bill McDonald.

    Jake Cherry

    Friends, family and guests gathered at Heroes Stadium as former graduate Jake Cherry was inducted to the North East ISD Wall of Heroes at a special ceremony on Nov. 9, 2017. A plaque featuring the high school football stand-out was added to the wall because of the impact he has made on the lives of current and future generations.

    Admiral William “Bill” H. McRaven

    It was an emotional and inspirational day as Admiral William “Bill” H. McRaven (Ret.) was honored with the first Wall of Heroes plaque at North East ISD’s Wall of Heroes ceremony on Oct. 16, 2015. It was a wonderful start to what will be a long-standing tradition of celebrating the achievements of a person from the District who embodies heroic values.
