MacArthur Girls Basketball is a competitive UIL 27-5A sanctioned girls program, made up of three teams: Varsity, JV, and Freshman A--who train year-round in the sport of Girls Basketball. The program competes against other schools during the sport season (October-February). All levels compete against district opponents, with the Varsity team, playing for contention for placement in post-season playoff rounds, culminating in a chance to play at the State Tournament, and ultimately, win a state championship.
