I am  proud to be a NEISD graduate.  I attended Bradley Middle School and then continued my educational journey through Mac Arthur High School, where I graduated in 1993.  I spent the next four years in Austin, Texas where I earned a Bachelor of Arts specializing in Mathematics from The University of Texas.  My first year of teaching (August 1997) was here at Garner Middle School where I taught 6th grade math.  From there I spent the next three years at Ed White Middle School teaching 7th and 8th grade math.  I then joined my husband teaching at Reagan High School - I absolutely enjoyed my 11 years at Reagan High School teaching Algebra I and Math Models.  During my final four years at Reagan, I proudly served as Dean of Mathematics.  After much thought and consideration, I decided to return to Garner Middle School to serve as Instructional Coach of Mathematics.  I am starting my 10th year back at Garner Middle School.  My husband and I have been married since 2000 and have two beautiful children (ages 16 and 14) - plus 2 dogs, a cat and 2 fish.
