Welcome to my teacher page! I started teaching at Tex Hill MS in January of 2023. A little about me… I attended the University of North Texas and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. I also earned a Master of Education in Secondary Education from Texas State University. I absolutely love teaching! I have been in education for about 17 years. This year, I am teaching high school credit courses, such as; Principles of Business, Marketing and Finance, Principles of Computer Science, and Principles of Arts, A/V, and Communication. I also have one Academic Individual Motivation (AIM) class. Most of my education career has been spent as a high school business/technology teacher. I also have 3 years of experience as an Instructional Technology Specialist at the middle school level. In addition, I spent a few years at North East central office working as a Special Projects Specialist, managing the online resources for the district. In addition to my education career, I have spent time working in the private sector as an IT Project Manager, Business Systems Analyst, advertising/sales, and marketing. 

My husband, Drew, and I have been married for twenty five years and we have one son, Aiden. I’m not sure where the time went, but my son will be graduating from Johnson High School this year. I enjoy spending time with my family, watching my son play tennis, going on walks with my dog Remi, movies, reading, and traveling.
