staff shout outs bannerAsk any teacher their favorite part of the job and it’s almost always those “lightbulb moments.”  These are moments when the lesson clicks with a student. Turns out, parents think they are pretty cool too.

“Ms. Celia Portman has turned English into my son’s favorite class. He always says Math and Science are the subjects he likes, but Ms. Portman’s class is his favorite. He describes Ms. Portman as positive, caring, and someone who likes being a teacher.

I have been amazed by all the English skills my son is able to apply. He is always pointing out Logos, Ethos, Pathos, and reasoning fallacies in conversations and advertisements.

Thanks, Mrs. Portman for being a bright spot in a difficult year!”
