Congratulations to Churchill High School football and baseball coach Andy DeLeon. He’s been chosen for the Texas High School Coaches Association ROCK Mentoring Program.
ROCK stands for Rare, Outstanding, Compelled and Knowledgeable. The program offers newer coaches mentors to offer them advice and insights into the career of coaching.
This is Coach DeLeon’s first year as a coach at Churchill, but he’s not new to North East ISD. He attended Hidden Forest Elementary School and Bradley Middle School and graduated from Churchill in 2018.
His favorite part of coaching is building relationships with student-athletes to help them get better on and off the field.
