Learn about the Alamo’s place in San Antonio and Texas History through a teachers-only walking tour of the grounds. The tour covers multiple eras in the site’s history, including Indigenous history, the Spanish Mission period, the Texas Revolution, Texas annexation and statehood, and the era of preservation. The tour runs from 5:30-7:30 p.m. and costs $20.
Workshop registration includes a light dinner (served at 5 p.m.), TEKS-aligned classroom resources, and 2 CPE credit certificate upon participation. Dress for the weather. Comfortable walking shoes recommended.
