Deborah Caldwell and Victor Garcia from North East ISD Government Relations and Grant Development presented a grant writing workshop to the faculty and staff at Montgomery Elementary School on Sept. 21. As teachers battle cuts to educational funding, this presentation was timely. Mustang staffers brainstormed areas where student needs can be met. The facilitators showed the staff how to plan, draft, and apply strategies that will ultimately get them started on the path to better serving the needs of students.
