Art from seven North East ISD students earned top honors at the State Visual Art Scholastic Event (VASE) – the largest art competition in Texas. Eighty-eight students from every NEISD high school advanced from the Regional VASE contest to state. Judging took place virtually Friday, April 24.
More than 2,000 student artworks advance to the state level, but only 150 are awarded the top Gold Seal awards. NEISD earned seven of the 10 Gold Seals awarded in our region.
