Roosevelt CyberPatriot team claims Mayor’s Cup, advances to nationals

The Roosevelt High School CyberPatriot program has established itself as one of the best in the nation. The hard work and dedication has paid off once again, as Roosevelt claims the 2021 Mayor’s Cyber Cup and advances to the CP-XIII Virtual National Finals Competition.

Congratulations to CyberPatriot teammates Alex Bryant, Francisco Rodriguez, Roselyn Schnable, Julian Pena and Tristan Lee. The group is coached by Josh Beck, Dalia Pulido and Master Sergeant Marchantia Johnson. The All-Service team is made up of Engineering & Technology Academy (ETA) and Design and Technology Academy (DATA) students.

The 2021 Mayor’s Cyber Cup is part of the CyberPatriot XIII competition and is given to the team with the highest score in the San Antonio area. Roosevelt’s CyberPatriot team will be honored during a virtual ceremony on Saturday, Feb. 27. 

The CP-XIII National Finals is scheduled to take place in a virtual format in March. Roosevelt is one of 13 teams in the nation to qualify in this division.
