Roosevelt counseling team wins fourth CREST Award

Roosevelt High School’s dedicated counseling team has been recognized among the best in the state once again. The Texas School Counselor Association (TSCA) named Roosevelt a CREST Award winner for the 2020-2021 school year.

The CREST award has gone to Roosevelt in 2016, 2018, 2019 and 2020. CREST stands for Counselors Reinforcing Excellence for Students in Texas. Schools receiving the CREST award demonstrate a commitment to using the school guidance and counseling program to improve students' lives and achievement in academic, career and social domains.

Counselors play a crucial role on every North East ISD campus and provide guidance and support to students in various areas, from academics to college and career readiness and social or emotional issues.

Roosevelt counselors will be recognized during the virtual Professional School Counselor Conference in February.

Congratulations!
