Bradley receives thoughtful donation

Attending North East ISD has turned into tradition for Fred Witta’s family. His children are graduates of Robert E. Lee High School, his daughter got her first teaching job at MacArthur High School and his son-in-law teaches at Reagan High School. Now, his grandchildren are walking the halls of NEISD campuses. Witta has spent many hours attending concerts and events at Bradley Middle School and he’s staying involved thanks to the North Central Thousand Oaks Neighborhood Association (NCTONA).

“It’s personal for me,” said Witta. “We’ve been doing a lot of things with the school and I’ve seen my grandsons go through Bradley so it’s been a longtime association. We’ve had a really close relationship, and I’ve always admired North East ISD.”

The group holds its general meetings at Bradley and noticed the campus was without a standing lectern. This inspired Witta and the supportive members of NCTONA to step in and meet that need by donating and delivering a brand new podium.

“We’re here today to show that the association is invested and cares,” said Witta. “We’re here to show our support any way we can.”
