Wood Middle School student Raelyn Chavez is being honored for her community service efforts. Chavez was awarded a President’s Volunteer Service Award through the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards program. This award recognizes middle and high school students across the country who have volunteered significant amounts of their time to serve their communities and country. Chavez was nominated by Wood Middle School last fall in recognition of her exemplary volunteer service. Congratulations Raelyn!
